Lake Challa Day Trip,

Welcome to Lake Challa, a crater lake on the boarder of Tanzania close to Kenya. It’s an hour and a half drive from Moshi town. For any one prefer the perfect place to camp for the night, Lake Chala is the best. Your hike will begin at the rim of the crater while looking down on the beautiful lake. Hike will take you approximately 45 minutes via savanna woodlands towards the lake. You will experience a perfect swimming from the natural lake and resting along the shore before hiking back towards the crater walls. When you are lucky some seasons of the year, when you sit on the deck overlooking the lake you might sport families of elephants, monkeys, and baboons, adjacent to the lake while drinking out of the watering holes. Meet with the stunning camping at Lake Challa with a campfire, cooking facilities, and a bar.
