Day 0: Arrive in Tanzania
You will be picked up at the Kilimanjaro International Airport and transferred to your hotel in Moshi town,
then you will meet your guide who will brief you on your upcomonig safari.
Meal and Accommodation; Hotel is Bed & Breakfast basis.
Day 1: Arusha to Tarangire National Park
After breakfast, we will drive you to Arusha Town for some minutes to purchases requirements. Afterwards we will transit to Tarangire for a game drive and stopover on a picnic for lunch at midafternoon. Tarangire is famous for huge elephant population and baobab trees. Herds of up to 300 elephants scratch the dry river bed for underground streams, migratory wildebeest and diverse of antelopes crowd the shrinking lagoons. It’s the utmost concentration of wildness out of Serengeti ecosystem a smorgasbord for predators and the one place in Tanzania where dry county antelope such as the stately fringe eared oryx and peculiar long necked gerenuk are regularly observed.
DAY 2 AND DAY 3 (TWO NIGHTS IN SERENGETI ).
After breakfast, you will move to Serengeti, via the stunning high lying at Karatu farmland and Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Exit the highlands behind, you will descend into the heart of wild Africa – the Serengeti Ecosystem, is oldest and most popular national park worldwide wonder, the Serengeti is famed for its annual migration, when some six million hooves found the open plains, as more than 200,000 zebra and 300,000 Thomson’s gazelle join the wildebeests walk for green pasture, the Serengeti arguably provides the most scintillating game viewing in Africa. Then head towards central park area, known as the Seronera area, one of the richest wildlife habitats in ecosystem, featuring the Seronera River, which provides a valuable water source and therefore attracts wildlife well representative of most of the Serengeti’s species. We will arrive in time and stop over for lunch and little rest before having afternoon game drive in the Serengeti ecosystem until evening and back to camp or Lodge for Dinner and overnight stay.
DAY 4: SERENGETI - NGORONGORO CRATER
At Early morning you will have Serengeti partial game drive and transit to Ngorongoro Conservation area, where geology and pre-history the two main geological rifts run through there. Nine volcanoes in the ngorongoro highland were formed in past four million years. One of these, oldonyo lengai -mountain of god is still active. Over millennia the ash and dust from each eruption has been carried by the wind to form the fertile soil of the Serengeti plains ecosystem. The earliest sign of mankind in the NCA is at laetoli where hominid footprints are preserved in volcanic rock 3.6 million years old. We will stopover at Olduvai Gorge, boasting with a history dating back to the dawn of time. It was here, that the anthropologists Drs. Lois and his wife Mary Leakey discovered the skulls of ‘Nutcracker Man’ and ‘Handy Man’, both very significant links in the chain of human evolution while at late afternoon we will drive you to Ngorongoro Simba campsite where you will have dinner and overnight stay.
DAY 5: NGORONGORO CRATER – ARUSHA/MOSHI
Soon After breakfast, we will descend you over 610 meters down the crater to view wildlife. Supported with yearly round water supply and fodder .The Ngorongoro conservation Area supports avast variety of animals, which comprises herds of wildebeest, zebra, buffalo, eland, warthog, hippo and giant African elephants. Another big draw card to this picturesque ecosystem is, its dense and diverse population of predators, like lions, hyenas, jackals, and the ever-elusive leopard, which sometimes requires a trained sporting eye .you will explore Lake Magadi, a large but shallow alkaline lake in the southwestern corner, which is one of the main features of the crater. A large number of flamingos, hippos and other water birds can usually been seen here. At Late afternoon we will drive you back to Moshi For dinner and Overnight or Kilimanjaro airport drop off.
End of the safari the KITASA TOURS driver will drive you to the airport for your flight back home / or option for climbing mountain Kilimanjaro.
